KYEC, the Nvidia supply chain partner, plans to spend NT$23.3 billion (US$710 million) on capex this year to double chip testing capacity, media report, a 68.5% increase over last year’s capex. The increase will mainly focus on final testing, and is necessary to keep pace with 20% to 30% revenue growth.
