The law will come into effect in 2024 and will provide an up to 8% tax incentive for concrete producers who work on state funded construction projects like bridges, foundation and sidewalks.

Concrete production accounts for approximately 7% of total global carbon emissions. We could bring that way down if new and emerging technologies that produce low-carbon concrete are scaled up. The NJ Low Carbon Concrete Leadership Act (A2234/S3732) can make that happen. #LECCLA
