We discuss:
1️⃣ Analysis of Geth's Pruning Scheme: Compared to FullNode online pruning and offline pruning, LETUS offers a more convenient and flexible pruning mode, effectively controlling the growth of state data space without the need for additional offline pruning tools.
2️⃣ Our Pruning Scheme and Approach: By leveraging the pruning framework of the LETUS trie, the engine achieves efficient and stable MPT pruning. MyGrid middleware is responsible for triggering automatic pruning and handling the interaction with the Geth client.
3️⃣ Evaluation of LETUS's Pruning: In simple transfer transaction workload, the space cost saving ratio has been increased from 42% to 79%; in real Ethereum mainnet workload, the space cost saving ratio has been increased from 74% to 88%.

We discuss:
1️⃣ Three Scale Bottlenecks: CPU Bottleneck, Memory Bottleneck, and Disk Bottleneck face challenges such as read-write amplification, data locality issues, performance degradation, high disk costs, and scaling bottlenecks.
2️⃣ Mygrid Multi-Sharding: Shard the account tree and contract tree separately to achieve multi-sharding expansion of MyGrid and modified Geth by adding mechanisms for batch writing and parallel hash computation, fully utilizing the parallel capabilities after sharding.
3️⃣ Optimization of Serial Execution Bottlenecks: Batch the put operations to create a page loading-friendly write workload for LETUS. Additionally, we developed a Flat KV cache integrated into the MyGrid middleware to minimize the read workload sent to LETUS.

In this article, we will explore how LETUS achieves seamless compatibility with Geth and share insights into building a highly efficient Ethereum storage solution.
