And yet, the word 'pause' was mentioned in Premier @Dave_Eby's announcement and stated on the government website. This is why it is important to listen to everyone advocating & to families. There were people who said this would happen, and they were vocal about it. @CAFofBC

Rather than dismiss the families coming forward looking for support and for their voice to be heard, it's time to #listen & #include them. Cherry picking consultation can't continue - it's imperative that all voices are heard with any policy changes to support services. #bcpoli

An engagement 'reset' would imply there was some engagement? I, like many parents, have been given declined meeting & consultation requests from you @MitziDeanBC. Will voices of children that can't enter a pilot be included? ALL children need to be heard. #LetsConsult @CAFofBC

Last year it was clear #MCFD did not consult with families and all stakeholders and the backlash from all showed. Any changes to a support system needs to encompass the voice and needs of ALL stakeholders, not just a select few. #LetsConsult #FundFamiliesNotMCFD #bcpoli
