A3: From personal experience, I've seen a lot of men dismiss/laugh off women's opinions or input in conversations, like they think we arent as important or something. we aren't wrong or dumb for having something to say and we shouldnt be ridiculed for whatever it is.

Q1: What women inspire you (who do you look up to?)
A5; volunteering, adopting, and rescuing! the more animals rescued, the more room for other animals in the shelter. when you adopt, you are not only saving your animal's life, but another that is taking their spot in the shelter #LNCChat
A4: also, many 'dangerous' breeds have hard times being adopted, like pitbulls, boxers, or rottweilers. one of my dogs is a pit/boxer mix, and even now some people are scared to be near her #LNCChat
A4: it is definitely harder for black dogs to be adopted, especially ones from a rescue. people don't want them because they are 'boring looking' or 'not fully bred' #LNCChat
A3: animal abuse is a huge problem in our society. one of my dogs was abused as a puppy, and left in a kill shelter to be euthanized. he still suffers from the effects of this abuse, 4 years later. it really bothers me that people find it okay to treat animals so badly. #LNCChat
A2: yes and no. I do not support zoos that abuse their animals and keep them in enclosed spaces for their entire lives. However, I do support zoos that save injured animals, and bring them back to good health #LNCChat
