Have had a side look to #Elixir and #Pharo #Smalltalk. Now the task to prepare the decision if to add one of them to my tech stack (beside #Rust and #Logtalk which both are set)

Also positive: making progress porting the swipl embedding bash script of #Logtalk to MS #powershell. Learning a lot of powershell and the clever design of Logtalk as a compiler

Still on the way to define my next projects (private and office) and to setup my toolset. #Prolog #Logtalk and #Rust with #Godot and #Bevy will play a role. The challenge is to focus

The nice thing with #Logtalk is: I could try to compile my #PSMGraph Builder in GNU Prolog & Scryer Prolog when full supported. To compare the speed of the rule engine may of interest. Scryer Prolog would be of special interest because the next generation graphics is in #Rust

With respect to #Prolog 50th anniversary I’m ask myself what is the broader vision of Prolog. #Logtalk shows (and showed me) that its principle can be evolved up to a cool SW engineering tool for professional needs…

The main features in the #PSMGraphBuilder which implements my Phenomenon-Signal-Model (and is written in #Logtalk) are working now. Speed-up is the task to follow. During https://t.co/Y8tcSyCY7C in Logtalk, after that by reimplementing in another lang like #Haskell or #APL.

Today used #Logtalk categories to refactor my data storage code. This was easy since the examples in the Logtalk handbook helped a lot. I’m still not satisfied with the storage abstraction, but the now implemented separation of concern in the code helps a lot to improve later.

Basic communication Client -> Server in #Logtalk works. Now the other way around+ increasing the portability. #XMPP. If this is done, next step is to connect #Godot via C# XMPP.

Now ahead of a refactoring phase of the #PSMGraphbuilder, my #Logtalk application for @vvm_projekt. Goals are to express the data structures more straight, and gain speed in the rule system.

Another dimension to consider is that what we do is state logic, and in that, #Prolog can be considered a high-capacity brain-computer interface. #Logtalk offers multithreaded actors defined in Prolog syntax. #Erlang offers roughly a subset of Prolog, and #LFE adds a lisp REPL.

After reading and some good discussion I see 2 ways for the first experiments for a mulit-user Logik programming based server component: - simple #Prolog implementation on #Erlang - #Pengine and #Logtalk Far later maybe a Prolog compiling on #BEAM is an topic, maybe, how knows

I’m still thinking about mixing replicated computing a la #opencroquet and #logtalk in some way. Goal: decentralised serverless distributed #Prolog for my #PerryMMO game.
