One thing I have decided from #LorenasPhd is after this I will never do research again that requires IRAS NHS ethics approval. The emotional labour is too much and nearly caused me to throw in towel many times. Hard to make a difference with red tape overkill.

#lorenasphd #PhDlife is collapsing into bed at 1:30am chuffed as heck that I’ve emailed my nhs ethics documents and data set (one is 7,000 words long!) for my supervisors to review for me. I know there will be edits but it’s still a massive PHEW!
Today #LorenasPhd is about creating the last few documents needed in easy read ready for ethics scrutinisation, in the warm with Christmas cheese blasting from the TV 🎄❄️
