That's the decals done apart from the prop. Clearcoat next then weathering. Managed to break the ariel mast off somehow ๐ . Dull coat after the clear then the exhausts

Sprayed RC960 RAF Dark green over the #AK Plastic putty masking removed the masks after 15mins. Really pleased with the result. Sky band and spinner tomorrow followed by the yellow leading edges. ๐๐๐

Real colours RC962 RAF Ocean grey sprayed after canopy had a coat of RC967 RAF cockpit grey green. The beauty of lacquer paints is the extremely quick drying time.๐๐

Oil wash applied to cockpit (forgot to photograph). Fuselage together had to dismantle some of the engine for fit, much scraping and sanding to get the wings to fit. Away for a week to let the #Mrsurfacer500 dry.

Lot of work assembling the engine just to locate the prop and exhausts as she is going to be closed up. Cockpit and sidewalls detailed ready for primer. Warning quite a lot of flash on the kit so some scraping and sanding required.
