Migurl Sanz-Novo (University of Valladolid) talked about normal- and iso-butyraldehyde. After lab measurements, a search in Sgr B2 with @almaobs enabled upper limits on abundance to be estimated. Unfortunately, the molecules have not been found (yet).

Chase Schultz (@UWMadison) FINALLY presented at ISMS after... ya know... pandemic, having a baby... just regular stuff. Chase extended the spectrum of one of the conformers of glycolic acid, adding more than 3000 lines!

I am SO TIRED because ISMS is super intense, so today I am taking the advice given to me by @kncrabtree at ISMS three years ago, which is to TAKE BREAKS. I'm going light on the talks today, but here is a mini-thread of the special plenary talks that were before dinner last night.
Fleming Crim, @UWMadison emeritus and former @NSF, gave us a history of the NSF and ISMS (@molspect). Important points: ISMS preceded NSF, and donuts became regular attendees in 1960! 🍩
