@JudithJesch @eblueaxe It was great fun. Everyone did a brilliant job. The animals at #Moorforge have never enjoyed such finely chopped cabbage before.

We then proceeded to #MoorForge where @eblueaxe gave us some background (and glimpses of his treasure chest) and @ScienceViking66 instructed us in how to kill a cabbage with both sword and axe.

I helped host @JudithJesch at #Moorforge #Viking Settlement this afternoon. She was shown around by @eblueaxe with some PhD students, who also learned how to kill a cabbage with a longaxe. Stupidly I didn't get photos, although I did get this. Thanks Judith :)

Bjarni lives in a nice secluded, virus-free longhouse in deepest #Cumbria. While there are plenty of other things you can catch there, Covid-19 isn't likely to be one of them. See what a school group thought about their visit to #Moorforge #Viking Settlement
