The Belgrave and Lilydale lines are a JOKE. 30 minute frequencies are not acceptable for a modern city certianly not one with much fancy and impressive stations like on the lilydale line. Fix it

@OperationalInc1 3 min frequency is pretty useless when you now need to change trains more often to do the same trip you do today, and the other line(s) aren’t so frequent. Many trips will actually take longer once Metro Tunnel opens.
Being able to and actually doing it are two different things. There is plenty of capacity on the existing network for extra services, yet passengers face extensive delays, particularly off-peak, at times up to a 40 minute wait

In 1991, some 33 years ago, it cost $4.20 full fare to travel across the metro network unrestricted for 3 hours.
The RBA inflation calculator puts that at $9.52 in today’s terms.
However, right now it costs $5.30 for two hours (yes, one hour less), or $10.60 for the entire day.
So they can run 10 min frequency at 2 am but not during weekends or interpeak weekdays wtf
