Today’s Herald Sun.
Our community is continually insulted, disrespected and harmed by this Victorian Government for Suburban Rail Loop, just because of where we live.
@JacintaAllanMP puts infrastructure before people and people’s health. Absolute failure as a leader and human.
By signing these contracts, without the required federal contribution, with scathing assessments from independent authorities, Jacinta Allan has engaged in the most financially reckless decision in the history of Victoria. #springst

Residents in Melbourne’s south-east are up in arms over the ongoing disruptions caused by the suburban rail loop project.
They say their living conditions are untenable, and they're being forced to find alternate accommodation over health and noise concerns. https://t.co/oY0v1YxpT2 @SaraJones_7 #7NEWS
As “mitigation” for the Suburban Rail Loop works noise, @suburbanloop have provided residents with a white noise machine that plays (among other things) train sounds. You can’t make this ridiculousness up.

Residents in Cheltenham and Box Hill don't even support the SRL anymore. Premier Jacinta Allan is one of the few left in Victoria still supporting this vanity project.

Secret documents have revealed the Suburban Rail Loop authority is blaming councils and community groups for a dramatic slump in support for the controversial project.

And this is the cause of the vibrations. The smaller vibration roller being used only 50metres from homes! This is disgraceful! I’m hearing now of more residents terrified by this, including one who thought there was an earthquake! Imagine what this is doing to homes! #springst
This video was taken a few minutes ago by a Nicholas Gve resident. The Suburban Rail Loop works are vibrating the house and causing the air fryer to shake loudly, understandably terrifying the resident.
No one should be forced to live with these impacts. #springst
If you are in the Heatherton or Clarinda areas we suggest downloading the free Decibel X app.
The SRL works this morning, before 8 on a Saturday, are already emitting low frequency noise. Low frequency noise is classified as noise under 200Hz.
You can screenshot these readings.
Melbourne’s Suburban Rail Loop should be cancelled to stop the state going broke on the government’s “pet project”, Opposition Leader Brad Battin says.

Just an absurd claim by @ShingvWorld that Matthew Guy came up with SRL that she was forced to admit she got wrong... She should admit that her SRL business case is built on dodgy assumptions and ridiculous cost projections while she's in the spirit of retractions. #springst
The Suburban Rail Loop’s business case canvassed ways to walk away from the project if it did not receive its expected funding.

In a testy press conference, Harriet Shing stood by the Allan government’s $35 billion estimate for SRL East – the first stage of the train line between Cheltenham and Box Hill.
