Many children w/autism fall through the cracks & have late diagnosis. Girls w/autism are under-diagnosed as they “mask” better.Many children who do not have profound autism are not diagnosed until they are in school. My child was diagnosed in 2017 and we await #NeedsBasedFunding
Not true. The Ontario Autism Program has been in limbo for almost four years and have grown to over 50,000 children and youth. The announcement does not say anything about #NeedsBasedFunding. My child has been waiting over 4 years for Needs based supports.
