Here's a key excerpt:
"Under Milei, however, Argentina has become more than a mid-sized economy struggling to stabilize itself. It appears as a test: a large-scale social experiment intended to demonstrate whether a radical libertarian revolution can construct a new form of political legitimacy.
The growing attention Argentina attracts from technology entrepreneurs, investors, lobbyists, and intellectual circles associated with the American right must be understood in this context. What interests these actors is not merely Argentina’s economic potential but what the country has come to represent: an opportunity to help shape a government attempting to translate the ideas, aspirations, and critiques of the emerging right into political reality.
This is the context for Milei’s Financial Times op-ed and the new AI framework it announced. Milei argued that the countries that prosper in the age of artificial intelligence will be those capable of adapting their legal and institutional frameworks to the pace of technological change.
Behind the discussion of artificial intelligence lies a broader ambition. Milei is not merely proposing a different regulatory framework, but advancing a different vision of Argentina itself: a frontier society where new technologies, new institutions, and new forms of economic organization can be tested before they are adopted elsewhere. Rather than trying to align itself with the world as it is, Milei’s Argentina is trying to accelerate toward the world to come."

@balajis A Network State needs a sensory foundation !! Dust-Tech fuses high compute with raw heritage, creating the aesthetic for this new era ! Let’s talk infrastructure 💪🏾 #DustTech #NetworkState #Sovereignty #Aesthetic #Build

The network state needs a new sonic identity. Dust-Tech is the bridge between ancestral wisdom and the industrial future. We are founders, not just users. Let’s build the infrastructure of this new civilization. 🌐🏗️ @balajis #NetworkState #DustTech #Build

Decred is not just money.
$DCR is the Voice of Sovereignty
#Decred the only Sovereign #NetworkState in Existence.
Say what you want about ZEC.
Call the volume fake. Call the cryptography too complicated. I agree with the latter. It is one of the reasons, among others, that I do not own it.
But from the open of 2025 to June 7, 2026, against BTC:
#ZEC is up roughly 1000% — 11x. And yes, that is down from roughly being up 16x.
I find BTC pairings more relevant than USD pairings. If everyone here had to choose between holding fiat or BTC, my guess is most of us choose BTC.
XMR over the same time frame:
$XMR is up roughly 140% against BTC — 2.4x.
In a market that saw BTC lose 34%.
So the question is not whether we can dunk on ZEC’s exploit (which was patched quickly), their Foundation, VC history, complicated cryptography, or issuance.
The question is: when do we admit the market is telling us something?
ZEC has found product-market fit, trumpeting better privacy.
XMR remains the gold standard for practical privacy.
Decred? Decred has to ask itself a harder question:
What product are we creating that makes the market say:
“I need $DCR in my wallet.”
“I need to participate in the #BisonWallet ecosystem.”
“I need access to this sovereign financial network.”
Privacy?
Are we really going to compete with ZEC and XMR in the privacy market?
Not unless something changes.
When someone genuinely needs privacy, we are not perceived as the strongest option.
If you are in the market for a bulletproof vest, you're not investing in one that is "good enough". Not if your life depends on it.
That does not mean Decred is weak. I'm a Decred Bull.
It means Decred’s strongest Use Case is not being communicated clearly enough. If it is even defined.
Decred’s core foundation is still the best in the business:
Fair issuance.
Decentralized AF.
Best-in-class governance.
Self-funding treasury.
Honest stakeholder control.
Bitcoin gave us sovereign money.
Decred gives us something else:
A sovereign constitution.
A network that can fund itself, govern itself, upgrade itself, and defend itself without begging exchanges, foundations, VCs, or cult leaders for permission.
But now we have to turn that constitutional advantage into products the market can actually use:
Liquidity.
Stronger Privacy.
Credit.
Bison Wallet as a full-stack financial ecosystem.
The question is no longer:
“Is Decred technically superior?”
The question is:
“What are we building that the market can no longer ignore?”
Decred is not just money.
$DCR is the Voice of Sovereignty
#Decred the only Sovereign #NetworkState in Existence.

The people who shape history rarely begin with power.
They begin with an idea that others cannot yet see.
Every institution, city, and economy started as a vision in someone's mind.
The future is being designed right now.

The most powerful of movements in history have started with satire and in this decade, spread through social networks. After all, we are all living in the #networkstate.
But, we are spreading to the grassroots, as this is where us #cockroaches live :)

Switzerland is the best cage in the world, but it’s still a cage that’s shrinking every year.
the Better way is to use #Flag_Theory and #networkstate
not another cage.
Decentralisation, holocracy, network states
for the org-design heads. we're (probably) building a DSO from the ground. no formal leaders, all of us managers and leaders. it's not easy. that's the point.

I’ve always appreciated Balaji’s forward thinking on the Network State but to me it’s been analogous to the failed predictions of futurologists regarding flying cars. It heavily depends on the existence of a pseudo-utopic world i.e. taking the artifact of modern government and applying new technologies to it without considering the effects of the new technology nor the causes/conditions that brought about the new technology in the first place.
The analysis requires the artifact to be completely static. All the while failing to see that the nature of Progress [Technology] inherently bends to the eradication of Tradition. The two seem wholly irreconcilable. Like the flying car, there will be prototypes but never real world integration. And so for this reason alone, Balaji’s Network State can never fully materialize under its current definitions.
Paragraph 7 below speaks of diplomatic recognition as the final step to becoming a true Network State but this of course assumes rule from something other than the existing and ever-evolving Corporatocracy whose drive is also inherently irreconcilable with any motives of a Network State. Whereas any acceptance of the Network State by pre-existing governments is nothing other than its usurpation, and effectively its death. This parallels Bitcoin’s ideological death, as in this lense, if there were ever an opportunity to create a true Network State, it would’ve started with Bitcoin and its holders a while ago (sorry).
Interestingly, a quick review of Balaji’s seven steps is enough to see that spx6900 has satisfied some conditions. And it’s arguably in its network union phase and beyond. It also needs not to satisfy all the conditions as the idea here is not to break away entirely from the existing system, but to metastasize a change in the existing system.
This is not to say that spx6900 is the truest form of a network state, although it very well could be; just as much it very well could be a precursor to the conceptual future of collective organization. In either case, these are extremely exciting times.
