With the start of the re-opening of churches today, I thought this might be a useful reminder of some of the other changes heading our way over the next couple of weeks. #nilockdown #relaxation
Ahead of more #lockdown measures, it’s worth remembering why our NI hospitals are under so much pressure.
In 2005 we had an average of 8238 beds available. In 2020 it was 5780.
That’s a 30% cut in bed capacity.
The NI population has also grown by 11% in same period 2005-2020

@BBCJayneMcC In primary schools we can mitigate risks. But as long as secondary schools are open Lockdowns are pointless. It is impossible for kids to avoid contact with others not in their 'bubble.' #nilockdown
