While we are looking at this beautiful NEAR CLI, I want you to learn about two things: 1. Try `near --teach-me` with your regular commands to learn what actually happens under the hood of your favorite commands. 2. Try `near --offline` and get unsigned or signed transaction and then print or send it with a new CLI command `near transaction print-transaction`. Also, explore other `near transaction` subcommands

#OnlyDev Need for Scalability AI agents are becoming increasingly integrated into daily life, necessitating a scalable solution for handling a vast number of transactions and interactions efficiently. Bowen Wang emphasizes that without a robust infrastructure, issues like congestion could arise, hindering the effectiveness of such agents. Importance of Open Financial Layer A permissionless financial infrastructure is crucial for enabling AI agents to manage assets and make transactions independently, removing traditional barriers like the need for quality control in funding. NEAR’s Sharding Design NEAR Protocol features a sharded architecture that scales linearly with the addition of more shards, allowing for higher throughput. @BowenWang18 notes plans to increase the number of shards to enhance transaction capacity. Targeting 1 Million TPS The aim for NEAR is to reach a capacity of 1 million transactions per second through effective sharding and optimizations. The sharding mechanism, enhanced by efficient validation processes, will play a pivotal role in achieving this goal. Reducing Block Time to 200ms Bowen Wang outlines efforts to improve transaction processing speeds, targeting a reduction of block times to 200 milliseconds. This will be aided by separating transaction consensus from execution, allowing constant processing and faster block production. Future Goals and Vision Looking ahead to 2025, Wang shares an ambitious goal for NEAR Protocol: to support up to 1 million transactions per second and extremely rapid block times, positioning NEAR as a prime financial layer for future AI agents, regardless of their complexity.
