As Lebanese citizens, we make the following demands in the interest of national sovereignty, stability, and a just future for our country: 1.The immediate disarmament of all Palestinian camps: These armed enclaves have long posed a threat to Lebanon’s internal security and have operated outside the framework of state authority. This cannot continue. 2.The disarmament of Hezbollah and all other non-state militias: Lebanon must reclaim the exclusive right to arms and defense through its legitimate armed forces. In a separate statement, we have detailed the militias operating in violation of national sovereignty. The state must be the only entity entrusted with protecting its citizens. 3.A resolution to the Palestinian refugee issue: It is time to work toward a sustainable solution. We call on Arab nations and the international community, especially those advocating for a two-state solution, to share the responsibility by offering permanent resettlement options. Lebanon has carried this burden for generations, and our national fabric cannot endure further strain. For over four decades, the Lebanese people have paid a heavy price; socially, economically, and politically; due to the presence of armed factions and unresolved refugee settlements. We have extended hospitality in the name of humanity, but we are not a substitute homeland. Enough is enough.
