Sometimes i feel #harmreduction could emphasize #pharmreduction more. The harms from being on psych meds and addiction meds often seems absent or dismissed. Attempts to taper are often discouraged by prescribers for fear of relapse/death.

I’ve been on this bandwagon for a while. I started The Unsponsored Psychiatry Report to provide #MedEd that’s free from Pharma influence. And highlights topics seldom covered in standard health media. #pharmreduction

#pharmreduction = a new movement (i made up just now😜) aimed at raising awareness of and reduction of harms from #bigpharma and the culture they helped shape around a “pill for every ill”. Meds save lives, yes! But they also do a lot of damage. #startlow #goslow #medtwitter
