An 18 year old Russian woman Elizaveta Starykh reportedly died after a collision between a tourist speedboat and a fishing trawler near #Koh_Khiao, an area between #Phuket and the #Phi_Phi Islands in #Krabi province. At least 21 to 22 others were injured, with some reports indicating several passengers were in critical condition. The injured included tourists from #Russia #Kazakhstan, #Kyrgyzstan and #Uzbekistan, as well as #Thai crew members. The speedboat collided head-on with a fishing trawler, causing the bow to be torn off. The vessel subsequently overturned and sank, throwing everyone on board into the water.. #Thailand
