Legislators have no clue what law they are passing. They create regulatory bodies on say so of bureaucrats or donors. Led to regulatory and legal mess #pide_evaluation
The“Banks are not favorable for SME to take loans because they have complicated process, as well as they, ask for collateral as guarantee which SME, as small enterprises, do not have” so even the banking sector is not playing an active role.

New SME policy has not been finalized yet. It implemented currently in country is the policy that came out in 2007. Problem is that even after 14 years, 2007 out dated policy is still intact. We should have an updated policy with a proper implementation
