Hey dear Pixels players! 🌟
Pixels just dropped a pretty drastic and necessary update (October 22nd, 2024), and I have to give props for hitting some key points. You can really see the effort put into making this a great game.

Here’s a summary of the adjustments made:
Task Board Update:
▫️ A new skill segmentation has been introduced to better organize tasks.
▫️ There's a daily limit on tasks, with a maximum of 40 tasks per skill, regardless of player specialization.
▫️ Only 4 tasks of any skill can be displayed on the board at any given time.
▫️ A new "Business" category has been added to expand the types of tasks available.
Rework of the Reputation System:
▫️ The reputation system has been revamped to better reflect player contributions from both in-game and blockchain activities.
Ways to increase reputation:
▫️ Own NFT land.
▫️ Buy VIP membership.
▫️ Have a Pixels pet.
▫️ Complete quests.
▫️ Participate in LiveOps events.
▫️ Connect social media accounts.
▫️ Play the game and engage in guild activities.
▫️ Own integrated NFT avatars.
New thresholds for key activities:
▫️ Coin trading: 1905 points
▫️ Trade threshold 1: 945 points
▫️ Unlimited trading: 3000 points
▫️ Selling in the market: 540 points
▫️ Buying in the market: 325 points
▫️ Create a guild: 2205 points
▫️ Withdraw: 1500 points
Changes to Coins and Energy:
▫️ A new energy drink, "Berry Blast," has been added, available for 5000 coins.
▫️ Trading and selling energy consumables has been disabled.
▫️ The price of coins in the bank has been adjusted, tying its value to USDC, similar to VIP.
Winery Rehab:
▫️ The entire winery has been removed from Terra Villa and replaced with a basic version, which only allows for small quantities of wine and other products.
▫️ Only the T1 Winery is accessible at first, while existing wineries on NFT lands will all be T4 and will be renamed "Vintage Wineries."
New Quests:
▫️ A new quest called "Reputable Banker" has been added, where players can spend $PIXEL to buy coin vouchers and increase their reputation score.
Land and LO Changes (Land Owners):
▫️ The surplus of lands has increased by 4% to 6%, depending on the skill associated with the map.
▫️ Landowners can now block certain players using their username or ETH address.
▫️ The total number of players on a land is limited to 100 (including allowed and blocked lists).
▫️ Landowners will receive VIP status if they hold their land for at least 7 days, which gives them:
* An extra inventory row.
* Access to VIP tasks.
* Access to the VIP sauna.
Mail Alerts:
▫️ Certain emails in the mailbox will expire after 30 days, but this won’t affect items already present.
VIP Legacy:
▫️ Current VIP members will retain their current expiration date and qualify for a 1% fee rate.
▫️ In the future, new VIPs will use the new adjusted fee rates.
Miscellaneous:
▫️ "Brewing Blend" has been reintroduced in the store.
▫️ Recipes that required Voidite Matrix have been reverted to use Voidtonium.
▫️ A sneak peek at Gacha boxes and the durability of items in the upcoming Halloween quests has been revealed.
As I mentioned at the beginning, I think the update is a pretty drastic change, but I know it will have a positive impact on players. These adjustments have been quite delicate, and as players, we should appreciate the effort and dedication put into it. Thanks, @pixels_online!

My Long Weekend Hack Project: Made @Syska_LED LED bulb change color based on the music note changes. The algorithm runs on my #pixels2. It listens to the ambient sound and instructs the bulb to change the color.
