Story of my life. #premox strikes again. These #Bordeaux whites from #Medoc #Pauillac and #SaintEmilion are all oxidized. The Petit Cheval is the colour of Yquem (perhaps because they share an owner, lol). They are all undrinkable. Even the Diam cork could not save Chevalier.

I've heard quite a bit about #premox #WhiteBurgundy. Has there been a consensus on the cause? The winemaker in me thinks, either too little free SO2 or rubbish corks - but I suspect there's more to it than that, as the problem wouldn't be so widespread if it were that simple...

Wall of shame for #henriboillot 2026 #Meursault Charmes and #Puligny are oxydized. Not #premox but more oxydation during winemaking/elevage. Expected better (A Genevrieres of same year was glorious)

Just bought this Chassagne-Montrachet 2018 from Gagnard from @LaSAQ_officiel two months ago. All three bottles suffer from the beginning of #premox The wine is dead. No fruit. It has been in bottle about 3 years, yet already shows oxydation. Not good. #Burgundy #chardonnay #wine
