How are you standing with survivors? #QcMosque has been fighting since 2017 to ban #handguns +#AssaultWeapons and @CPC_HQ fought them every step, siding with #GunLobby & promising to repeal #C21 that freezes sale of #handguns, gun used to kill 6 & injure 5 in under 2 min #NoShame

Seven years ago, an unthinkable terrorist attack took place on the Muslim community in Quebec. As we remember the victims and stand with the survivors, we renew our commitment to ending Islamophobia and making sure Canada is always a country where everyone can worship in peace & safety.

#GunControl advocates have been pushing for a clear Criminal Code definition of assault-style guns. The co-founder of #QcMosque, site of a mass-shooting, said ⁦@marcomendicino⁩ assured him such an amendment was coming #BillC21 ⁦@EmilieBerge⁩ https://t.co/wKiwzGu7vS

@merry123459 If you don’t think the horror of Texas, and countless other shootings couldn’t happen more often in Canada, think again. The Liberals are doing a better job at gun control recently, but we need to keep after them. For all our sakes. #Dawson #QCMosque.

CCFR accusing gun control advocates (including parents of victims & survivors of #Polytechnique #Dawson #QcMosque shootings) of “silencing” mother of gang violence victim. How was she “silenced"? There’s no reason to oppose efforts of other victims when we're all #AgainstViolence

In any case, what counts is what most 🇨🇦Canadians want, and 8 out of 10 support a total ban on semi-automatic #AssaultWeapons like the ones involved in the mass shootings at #Polytechnique, #Dawson, #QcMosque, #Moncton, #Fredericton - all legally owned #cdnpoli

"Investigator, Firearms instructor (Tactical), Security Specialist & Political Analyst" making serious counter-argument to our point that #Polytechnique, #Dawson and #QcMosque massacres all involved legal #AssaultWeapons...

Well pardon us if we - survivors, witnesses & families of victims of mass shootings - think it's worth investing our efforts in preventing the next massacre. Incidentally, shooting at #Polytechnique, #Dawson & #QcMosque all involved legal #AssaultWeapons. #CreepyGunTroll #cdnpoli

Actually, that second image accurately depicts what #Polytechnique, #Dawson and #QcMosque communities faced in real life, including our spokesperson Nathalie Provost who was shot four times and saw six of her classmates die by her side #ZeroEmpathy #GunTroll #cdnpoli

Gun clubs train people to shoot effectively. Alexandre Bissonnette (#QcMosque shooter), Kimveer Gill (#Dawson shooter) & Justin Bourque (#Moncton shooter): all legal gun owners who practiced shooting in legal gun clubs #JustFacts #NotAllGunOwners #cdnpoli
