Even though I don’t disagree with some things they say, it appears that Bob and other LTN extremists are not interested in sensible discussion.
Instead they resort to Jon Burke-like derogatoriness, and patronising replies to try and shut us up.

They push the idea that businesses reliant on visitor custom "deserve to fail".

This really has to be seen as a reaction to inner-city council policies on retail (including LTNs), which have resulted in loss of variety, quantity of uses, and healthy choices.

Remember also #ReducedAccess policies like LTNs, which make it harder to schedule supplies & contractors.
Then all the fakery, eg “car-free” developments which add car storage & roads.

And LTNs, which deliberately congest main roads, where most access is needed and most walking & cycling is done. This systematic loss of time is more harmful to a small business than a week’s loss of van use.
Southwark’s “dynamic” loading bays, with live updates in e-ink, require shops run by black/ethnic minority communities to pre-register in advance if they wish to receive supplies/manage their waste.
It’s all very neat & tidy; the AT lobbyists who pressed for it must be pleased.
