@iTeach_Middles @kimdarche Very true. I kept things at basics, even using a textbook and requiring students use that instead of their Chromebooks. It was meant to save their eyes from strain and also plan for the Internet and power outages that did come... #remotelearningusf

A4: 2 days of class but 5 days of learning...PE lends itself to log daily steps or workouts & chart the week/month/semester. For Health, students can record water intake, amount of sleep, or identify health related media influences related to any class topic. #remotelearningusf

@kimdarche Hey! I’m Brittany- 5th year sped teacher in Channahon! We were lucky enough to be back full time in August, but still had asynchronous learning- which was very difficult! Thankful for remote learning for allowing us to still connect to our students, but it was still hard!

A6: The biggest thing I’ve learned this year about teaching is that I kinda need to try new things! Kids are growing in an every changing techy world, and in order to stay hip and happening 😂, I have to adapt. So show that TikTok, use the newest tech craze, and smile through it!
