Today the DC Council voted unanimously for the bill from me, @CMBrookePinto, and @CMLewisGeorgeW4 to push down rent for the next 2 years for residents in #RentControlled units. Here's what that means for you:
What does this mean? For everyone in #RentControlled units, rent hikes are capped at 6%.
For senior residents and neighbors with disabilities living in rent-controlled units, rent increases are capped at 4%.
