The 1st expansion I made to #Brainspotting was to develop the concept of a Resource Brainspot (now called the #ResourceSpot), based on the idea of #BodyResource. This spot is derived from #InsideWindowBrainspotting, as the conscious participation of the clients needed to find it.

In session we identify #ResourceSpot where the athlete feels #calm & grounded. I guide them to use that spot in between sessions, not just when they are struggling, but also when they are feeling fine. The more the #athlete works the spot, the more #grounded they become in it.
