When I’m out on days like today, and I hear people say, ‘What a lovely day,’ and ‘Gorgeous weather,’ I die inside, because I absolutely hate it. I feel depression and anxiety coming on as soon as the weather warms up, and I dread the long, hot summer ahead. #reverseSAD
Best day ever! #reverseSAD
True to form, the sun comes out and my reverse SAD has kicked in - and I’ve had awful hay fever too. It’s also really hard when you have young kids who want to play outside, but all you want to do is lie down in a dark room for a few hours. #summerblues #reverseSAD
It's cool. There was actually rain today. It's overcast. This is MY JAM. #fucksummer #ihateheat #reverseSAD #sohappy
This is my favourite summer weather ever! I can actually function and am not anxious or depressed. #reversesad #summerblues
@snowangelmrsp I'd never heard of #reverseSAD
but knew that my mother
who lived with disabling mental health problems
would crash every spring.
Supported housing made a huge difference
& she wasn't hospitalized again for mental health issues for the rest of her life.
Everyone is different.
4 year old has found Christmas videos on his iPad and he is both upset that it’s not Christmas and continuing to listen to holiday music. I feel this in my bones.

I've never met a summer I didn't want to fuck off and become autumn immediately.

‘Tis the season where I piss everyone off because I don’t like to be outside in the sun
(Not helped by fact I’ve lost my sunglasses)
#ReverseSAD
All this talk about #seasonaldepression when #reverseSAD isn’t talked about much. Both are bad enough but reverse SAD needs more attention.
Thanks for reading this if you did and cared.
Impossible to do anything in this weather…attempted to go out, had to come back in again as I was sweating like a fountain! 🥵 #Heatwave #ReverseSAD
They said we’d have storms up here...I had to come home early after going to the bank and the heat in town was absolutely frazzling me! #ReverseSAD #WhereIsTheRain
I know #UKHeatwave is more prominent down south, but its still hot up here, forecasters got it wrong again...I shouldn't have made it to the office, miraculously I did.
Perhaps it was the fella who offered me his day ticket at the bus stop, I get off on kindness!

I hate muggy days, today was muggy! They’re actually more intolerable than heatwaves because they’re so deceiving...sun doesn’t even have to show up, it’s like someone put a giant radiator on full blast! #ReverseSAD
Time’s up. Way too hot today...this is what #ReverseSAD does to me, saps all my energy and heightens my anxiety! At least I can do some podcasting tonite, so whole day won’t be a loss!
When it's January, but the temp is 66F, you're under a tornado watch, and you've only seen a trace of snow all winter long... #FourSeasonsWhere #reverseSAD #ncwx #babyyodamemes
@_UoW Yes! & so begins the long, lovely slide into the dark and winter season. I seem to be the only person I know who thrives in the cold, grey, & dark, but gets more anxious & distraught in bright, hot, sunny weather. #ReverseSAD
