I just submitted my #RevPit winner and runner-up. 👀
I am geeked beyond measure but also so sad that I couldn't keep all 57 books that I had marked as "maybes." I ended up with a shortlist of four books. The winner was easy. Runner-up was TOUGH.

I'm stuck on these last three #RevPit subs. The characters are all interesting & fun. I want to be a personal cheerleader to all of them & want to protect them from what's heading their way. I won't, of course, because they'll need to suffer to grow. But still...

This sub ❤️😍✨ #revpitteasers
Finished my second round of #10Queries over on the Reddit and now settling in to read the submissions that most caught my eye 👀 #revpitteasers #revpit
I have my #RevPit shortlist! Now, I get to dive even deeper and linger in these worlds with these characters for a little while to see which one I just can't let go. Math might get involved. Wish me luck! #RevPitTeasers
Today, the #RevPit editors opened up a new Slack channel to discuss shortlists. We're starting to see some actual names burble to the surface, friends!

Preparing for my #RevPit #10Queries session tomorrow and moved a cat from the "Had to let go" back to the "Yes!" cats. This is going the wrong direction😆 #RevPitTeasers
You have no idea how hard this is! 🥹I've sorted through all my Maybe Yes cats and now have some more narrowing down to do on the remaining #RevPit subs. Feel free to post pics of pets or nature or whatever brings you joy. #RevPitTeasers
Factors that are making it hard to narrow down my submission selection:
✨Interesting approaches to magic and magic systems
💕Romantic tropes I enjoy
👻Spooky haunts and other horrors
🔍Intriguing, suspenseful mysteries
💫Out-of-this-world adventures

I didn’t have any expectations for the types of submissions I’d get. That said, there are quite a few with hauntings, necromancy, and demons that I wasn’t expecting, but I’m here for it!

So many awesome stories in my sub list this year 🩷📚⏰☕️🥰
The first line of this next manuscript is DRIPPING with atmosphere and tone. It established a vibe for the entire book to come in like two opening sentences. I love. You writers are on a roll today, my goodness!

I'm halfway through the initial review of my #RevPit subs! Even though this is my fourth year with RevPit, it's not getting any easier to narrow these amazing submissions down to just one. #RevPitTeasers
For #RevPit, I picked 3 books that I wanted to seriously consider first, and I won't lie, one of them has my heart THUMPING already. I've been thinking about the query and opening pages for two days, and what I've read of the first few chapters is just as good...
