A Silly Saturday Story. Being a Ronnie and a Connie, we have had a few nicknames given to us as a couple over the years. Most commonly being called Ron and Con by our friends. Ronald and Conald by family. Ron Stoppable and Con Possible. RonCon. Sometimes #RonCon RC. And then there is our absolute favorite..... RonCon Soup! 😆 This one came about when we first met. We were cuddling together in one of these wicker bowl chairs at a friend's house, and that is when our very first couple nickname was born.

Sunday stories 😄 A few years back, we stopped into a new small, locally owned gift shop. The kind of place you wander through nice and slow, so many unique things to see and because you know every purchase matters to a real family. I spotted a silly, soft cow and laughed. I never would have picked out a Squishmallow for myself, but it made me smile. They ended up going on clearance for 50% off, the shop was local, and Christmas was coming. That was enough.... Ron bought it for me, half joking, half knowing it would become one of my keepsakes. Well, it wasn't until later we noticed the name tag. The cow already had a name. What are the chances his name is Ronnie!!! 🥰

Great conversation on the latest #Reaganism with my fellow #RonCon @marcthiessen. We get into Marc’s candid take on l the state of the conservative movement—and he doesn’t hold back. From the Heritage Foundation to the toxic influence of Tucker Carlson, Marc lays out what’s at stake for the right and why Reagan’s ideals still matter. Are we ready for #RonCon? 🤔👀 My two biggest takeaways from helping set up the @Ronin_Network Global Rallies for next week are: - The Ronin Community is truly huge and present globally. Many countries/cities have been requesting to host meetups as well (we will accommodate next time!) - The Global Rallies in the Philippines are massively oversubscribed. It feels like if we were to do a RonCon in the PH, we can fill out a 10K+ venue—with global community members flying in as well. Would be crazy, but let’s put a pin on that first. 😅 Happy to see the Ronin community thriving globally. Looking forward to the Global Rallies! 🪶🐯

Cleaning out my phone this morning and found this picture. They had been married 45 years at the time. The most beautiful love, some of my most favorite people. Pictures like this simultaneously break my heart all over again and bring a smile to my face. 🤍 #RonCon forever.
