Addressed the representatives of employees union of #TSRTC virtually, expressed My Concerns over the future of 43373 employees Work place Safety and Future Benefits.Assured them of protecting their interest always as in the Past.
I am pained to know about the strike conducted by RTC employees even before government clarified my relevant queries.This strike has created inconvenience to the common public besides stress to all employees.. I want to convey that, I am always with the RTC employees welfare. One may recall RTC previous strike 2YRS ago I was with you all and heard your grievances, even in late hours at 11pm by
inviting to the Raj Bhavan to hear your grievances. There is no personal or other political interest as crticised involved in withholding my consent for introducing the bill.
Now also I am with you all, my only concern is to protect and sageguard the interest of the TSRTC employees and the organization in larger public interest.
Governor informed the employees that, she is concerned about their pending PRCs, EPF, and Gratuity, leave encashment dues. The whole lot of retired employees are suffering and sending representations.
The Crores’ of employees Welfare Cooperative society’s money, which was taken, yet to be returned by the govt.,
I am completely in favor of RTC employees, if they really get benefitted, I am absolutely in their favor and wanted the employees interest is fully protected in future.
The Raj Bhavan Secretariat has sent a letter to the govt., seeking clarification on 5 concerns of the draft bill, in the best interests, of both the TSRTC employees and the State.
I am very much concerned; that the bill shouldn’t be introduced hapazardly. Sufficient time should be given to all the parties concerned to debate the provisions thoroughly.
As a Constitutional head of the state, I have to be assured and verify the constitutional provisions and protect the larger interest of public as well as the employees; hence sought legal opinion and clarifications on the 5 issues pointed out.
I appeal to the employees and all the parties concerned to study the bill in detail and look in to the provisions in greater scrutiny.
I am here to assure you all the employees that, I am totally in favor of TSRTC employees and would like to fully ensure that adaptation of democratic process in protecting the public interest. Once I receive the reply from the govt. I will take a suitable action on the bill to ensure and safeguard the interest of the employees.
During the video conference one of the JAC representatives informed the Governor, that, employees unions have not given any call for the strike. It is completely a government sponsored and forced strike; even the women employees are not spared.
We were threatened and forced to give strike call and organize the Raj Bhavan Seize program. Some MLAs and a minister has orchestrated this Dharna program to infuriate the employees & cause public inconvwelfare .
