It's a gorgeous sunny day here in Milton Keynes, perfect for getting out and spotting fungi for #UKFungusDay or maybe for your #S295 BioBlitz! Here's some we found in a park close to @OpenUniversity Walton Hall Campus. Can you ID it?

@OUstudents It’s #S295 exam day here. Haven’t opened it yet as the timer starts as soon as I do so I’m playing the optimal painkiller timings to make sure I don’t need to get up for heat packs as they wear off 😂😭
Get your dose of bumblebee goodness this #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek 🐝
We could watch bumblebees going about their buzziness all day 💚
Does seeing a bumbleblee give you a little wellbeing boost or make you smile?
#S295 students this might be of interest and relates to Topic 2.
Yesterday we spent all morning trying to spot and catch insects (rocks don’t have legs/wings so immediately I’m out of my zone here…) only for this afternoon to have them come to me on coffee break 😂 Typical! Seems the @space_ou hoodie is a critter magnet 😂

Nice to see one of my pals from the #S295 Investigation A training phase back to say hello too 😍

I fear I’m going to pay for this fine day of reading my #S309 materials outside, sneaking a cheeky nap under the tree & enjoying a sunset weights workout in the garden with a Springsteen playlist in #S295 Field School rain levels next week 😂😭

#S295 students check out this interesting project tracking cuckoo migration 👇
I’m convinced the module #S295 was written by garden birds & you can’t convince me otherwise, not even by giving chapters human sounding authors.
I had to feed them for Investigation A & I’ve kept feeding them because they learnt to tap on the windows when the feeder was empty
I've been allocated a tutor on both #S295 and #S309 already! Very speedy this year...I am 100% not ready for this #OUStudents
角野さんお誕生日に、S-295(角野さんシグネイチャーモデル)が不在にしているのって久しぶりだなぁ。
そんなわけで、今日は7月6日です。
これからも末永く、このベースを弾いていきますよー(^^)

This looks interesting and relates to #S295 The Biology of Survival.
You can access the full article via the library with your OU login.
In their Review, Ana Amador & Gabriel Mindlin @GaboMindlin highlight how biomechanical adaptations in different suboscine bird species allow them to generate a rich variety of acoustic motifs in their song
