Since the Great #Recession, U.S. #stocks have behaved like a secular bull market, which is characterized by an extended period of growth and rising prices. Looking at the 1942 and 1974, the current #bullmarket has roughly 8-10 years before the next #secularbear returns. h/t @ISABELNET_SA

Who here thinks the #SPX will be well back on track by 2025? I have been calling this a secular (decadal) bear market since January 2022 (the month it started). @Oliver_MSA basically said the same (in my view), in February 2022. #SecularBear

In a real #secularbear market, there is nothing the #FederalReserve or other central banks could say or do to stop the complete destruction of investor confidence and halt a reset. The fact that a mere hint of a possible pivot moves the market higher should tell where we are.

It is a much much much bigger bear market this time. It's now a secular bear market. It was a cyclical bear market in 2000 & 2008. The darlings of the 2020s will still be in Nowheresville in the 2030s. If you want something that few truly understand, it's this!!! #SecularBear

@DaveHoran1 Just guessing, we have kicked off maybe 15 years of directionlessness as of the start of this year. Add in inflation (to date), and maybe it started sooner. Add in inflation (continuing), it will certainly finish much later. The bubble is pricked. It won't be back. #SecularBear
