REWIND 184 YEARS #German Johann Heinrich #Schulze (1687-1744) made an important discovery in 1725 finding that silver salts darkened when exposed to sunshine. While mixing chalk with dissolved #silver in nitric acid, he observed that sunshine darkened the material.

30x40cm #silverprint from the last week. I was jumping a lot around with split grade filters to save some details from overexposed highlights. Looks like it works a bit. @PrintParteh #darkroom #silverhalide #filmphotograhy #printparteh

23 prints last night when usually do max 5-6 for the same time. In sake to test technique and intuition and it is failed — quality is ok, but far from perfect. Never rush in a darkroom at the expense of test prints amount @PrintParteh #darkroom #silverhalide #filmphotograhy

About 6-7 tests before doing the first big print, some dodging, then two more prints with different exposure time and more dodging, but still didn’t come to a perfect image, while this one is already good! #silverhalide #darkroom #filmphotography #BelieveInFilm

Spent about 4 hours in my pop-up #darkroom tonight printing on a 30x40cm paper. Huge, difficult but the process itself is gorgeous! Favorite photos deserve to turn into #silverhalide prints. Big format gives very specific impressions 🔳 #filmphotography #filmisnotdead
