I would have also said @oxidecomputer, because of #Helios, but they would probably expect me to "be on board" with Rust, so that's out.
Managed to disable linking libgd with Xpm library last night, which means that my own PHP can now be installed in a #SmartOS minimal Joyent-branded zone, with no unresolved shared object libraries. Now I have all the packages required for installing the Mantis bug tracker.
I'm still in awe of how backwards-compatible #SmartOS is with Solaris 10; I was able to take 20 years of our advanced technology & research & run it on SmartOS with only minimal modifications here & there; binaries & libraries JustWork™️. We saved 1000's of eng. hours & millions.
Just installed my own ANTRoraclex in a Joyent-brand SmartOS zone; it's my own package of 64-bit Oracle 11g R2 for i86pc.
'AttachHome' was succesful.

Only 53 processes and 200 MB of RAM usage on a system with 128 GB of RAM; I involuntarily chuckled.
That's Solaris I mean illumos kernel for you. #SmartOS
More progress on #SmartOS - I added the capability to define DNS resolver options. For example, if I now specify
dns_resolver_options="timeout:1 rotate"
in /usbkey/config, /etc/resolv.conf gets
options timeout:1 rotate
so NTP pools now work, even if some DNS servers are down.
