For many #LGBTQ+ youth, libraries are indeed one of the few (if not only) safe and welcoming spaces where young people can see their identities affirmed & celebrated. This can be life-saving. We hope the #SmithtownLibrary will swiftly reconsider + rescind this dangerous decision.
