Basically, some parts of Cornwall look like they’re starring in their own crime drama this morning! Temperatures: a mild 14°C to 18°C, so it’s not cold, just damp enough to make you regret wearing suede shoes. 🚗 Driving Warning: If you’re heading out, take extra care. Visibility in places is like trying to find your TV remote in the sofa – slim chances unless you’re lucky! 💡 Did You Know? Fog is basically a cloud on the ground! It forms when air near the surface cools enough for water vapour to condense into tiny droplets. When visibility drops below 1 km, it’s officially called fog; anything more is just mist, being dramatic. The UK’s foggiest spot? Apparently, it’s often around the Pennines and Scottish Highlands… but Cornwall likes to put on a good show too! ☕ Best tip today? Coffee. Lots of it. Good morning. There's not much to say about this morning apart from its wet. I don't like the look of the radar either, we're going to see some really heavy persistent rain throughout the course of the day. Roads are going to be inundated with laying surface water and there will be flooding. The winds will become blustery with speeds between 15-50mph along with disappointing temperatures. Good morning and happy Thursday to you all! It's your friendly weatherman, Dave, here to give you the latest update on what mother nature has in store for us today. And let me tell you, she's definitely keeping us on our toes! I just checked the weather radar and boy oh boy, there are some heavy downpours of rain happening this morning. And get this, there's even a chance of some hail mixed in! Looks like we're in for a good old fashioned rinse and spin cycle, courtesy of mother nature. So make sure to grab your umbrella before heading out today. But wait, there's more! As the day goes on, the temperature is expected to drop and there's a chance of sleet and even some snow flurries.
