The 48 year old #ColdCase of missing and murdered Gretchen Harrington, 8 years old, is now #Solved! It ends up, David Zandstra, the pastor of the first of two churches who were doing a joint summer bible school, was her murderer! Zandstra saw Gretchen walking along the side of the road that morning, headed to his church for summer bible school. He offered her a ride, took her to a wooded area, demanded she strip naked. When she refused, Zandstra hit Gretchen over her head w his fist. He said she was heavily bleeding and he thought she was dead. He took her body out into the woods, tried to cover her up and left. Afterwards, he went to his church to carry out that mornings summer bible school activities as if nothing had happened. Zandstra was in charge of transporting the children from his church to the next church, after the morning activities. The Pastor of the second church that held the afternoon activities for the summer bible school was none other than Gretchen’s very own father. When Gretchen did not show up to his church, he immediately called 911 and a manhunt ensued. The desperate search was called off 2 months later, when a jogger found her body in a secluded area of Ridley Creek State Park, bringing a devastating end to the search to find Gretchen. But, the detective work & investigation carried on. During the 48 years of this being an unsolved case, Zandstra has denied involvement or even seeing Gretchen that morning. It was initially suspected that a stranger had seen her walking along the side of the road to church and she had been kidnapped & killed by them. That stranger turned out to be NO STRANGER at all, but the trusted Pastor Gretchen’s father was collaborating w for summer bible school! Someone Gretchen knew, trusted and sensed no danger from! I’m January 2023 a tip came in to investigators about there being sexual misconduct in Zandstra’s past. This lead investigators down to Marietta GA to interview him again. Zandstra continued to deny knowledge or involvements. Investigators confronted him w evidence. Zandstra finally relented, admitting he saw Gretchen walking alone on the side of the road to church that fateful morning, telling investigators the truth of what happened those long 48 years ago. DNA has been collected and are being tested to run against other unsolved crimes in Marietta, GA and Plaino, TX - both where Zandstra lived for a period. Zandstra has waived extradition. The DA has started the process of requisition. Once approved, PA State Police will transport Zandstra back to PA, Delaware Country, to face Justice. Zandstra is being charged w criminal homicide of murder in the first, second and third degree, as well as the kidnapping of a minor and the possession of an instrument of a crime. MY THEORY: Does Peyton have AIDS? Peyton lived in his house for most of his early life, and AIDS rates are extremely high in house. AIDS weakens the immune system which explains why Peyton is always sick. Other symptoms of AIDS include body fatigue and stomach issues. #SolvedCase
