We’re increasingly becoming a Cislunar civilization in which access to or the control of Earth orbit, the Moon, Lagrange points, & other strategic territory beyond our home world will determine the fate & future of nations.

The first version, Orbital Reef, is like a luxury Airbnb in low Earth orbit: holds 10 people, spins around the planet every 90 minutes, and will probably cost more than your college tuition. Bezos says it’s to “preserve Earth”, but it’s also a sci-fi fever dream fueled by trillion-dollar ambition and some serious Star Trek vibes. Reminder: ideas are wild, expensive, and one bad parachute away from flaming death. But hey, if space landlords are the future, at least Earth still has gravity... and breathable air.
