How #DebtTrap works - #CCP gives a loan so large that even its interest is unpayable. Thus, a BRI nation often ends up asking CCP for more loans, which #China provides gleefully. Thus, at the end of the day, Chinese loans are quicksand for BRI nations! #StopBRI

When that happens, a BRI nation won't be able to repay the loans taken from #CCP & may ask CCP for more loans. CCP will use this opportunity to swoop in with money to entangle a country in a debt trap or claim critical infra & resources! #StopBRI 2/2

Chinese infra is hollow. One of the reasons why #China has so many ghost towns is because people are unwilling to bet their money on #CCP's shoddy work. Same is the case in BRI, cost of maintenance outweighs revenue; hence, nations are put in #DebtTrap. #StopBRI @NoCCPGenocide
