@chaseparis Hi! Question for your #stuffactorsshouldknow. If an actor is booked on a 3 day & SW is Thur, they don’t shoot Fri, Prod is off Sat/Sun, Actor works Mon, Tue.. Does that constitute 3 days, or would prod owe a 4th day because it wasn’t consecutive from SW?
@elephantburch Billing is sometimes negotiable, I plan to cover in a future #stuffactorsshouldknow, but our office is pretty protective of it so it doesn't lose it's value. IMO some roles and actors clearly deserve billing, majority don't, and a good few fall in a gray area.

#stuffactorsshouldknow You can drop a daily contract and pick it up later in a shoot if you have 10 days intervening for a film, TV is 14. Pick up is to a daily, 3-day (for TV only), or weekly contract. You can ONLY do this with a daily contract. This is called a 'drop pick up'.
