One Beat. One City.
Every city has places where ideas become music.
This idea begins at Submerge.

Emerge
On the verge
Of some crazy dirge
This I urge
Do not purge
The memories or our love that once did converge
As wiped by a wicked scourge
Broken hearts never again to merge
Seems all was outed by a power surge #fastprompt
"Quantum Stargate" by @davidariew takes you on a meditative journey to another dimension through ethereal realms that could never be visited otherwise.

I'm happy to share an early preview of the #Submerge Crystal API. A documentation site where you can try out the endpoints on the Polkadot Coretime deployment is available at https://t.co/S6KUuaPPco. Early preview means expect rough edges, and historical indexing is ongoing as of now:)
Crystal is the foundational indexer component of Submerge. I will publish a detailed write-up about what makes Crystal special later, but a few highlights:
- Separate indexing and querying of calls - ability to query nested or root calls independently of extrinsics
- Configurable block trace indexing/storage/decoding - very critical for deep historical analysis
- Flexible search by a plethora of parameters including partial/full pallet and entity name for calls and events
- Detailed metadata access
- Comprehensive queries for all blockchain entities (blocks, extrinsics, calls, events, traces, metadata, genesis)
Crystal supports all Metadata V14 #Substrate chains out of the box, including those with #Ethereum-style addresses and/or signatures, and also supports down to V8 (early #Kusama, Kusama Asset Hub, Moonriver, Bifrost Kusama, etc.) via a self-contained fallback solution. There's going to be binary and Docker image releases next week, following some final fine-tuning and development of some new features. Crystal API will be made public for Polkadot, Kusama, all of their system parachains, and Polkadot parachains including Acala, Bifrost, Hydration, Hyperbridge, Mythos, and more. The web application will follow soon after, alongside other components.
What's next?
- Crystal enhancements and binary/database performance improvements
- Release of deployable binaries and Docker images
- Publishing public Crystal APIs for Polkadot, Kusama, all of their system parachains, and select parachains
- Preview releases of the other components: Fractal, Bloom, Mycelium, Sentinel, and the web application
I'm happy to have entered the release cycle of this project. I'll share a lot more later about the development process and the software itself.
In the meantime, happy #Sub0 everyone. I'm heading to the hackathon in a bit:)

“What if our lives result from choices made long before our existence?” This is the core question of ‘Protopica: Sin Agua No Hay Tiempo’ currently on view at ARTECHOUSE NYC’s #SUBMERGE: Beyond the Render exhibition.
Rather than using emerging technologies to overwrite, #Protopica employs them to listen: to languages, to stories, and to the knowledge carried in blood and water.
The experience is a cultural vessel for safeguarding endangered narratives, particularly those rooted in diasporic, Indigenous, and underrepresented cultures.
