The very interesting presentation by @AMMoslehi at @ANRT_type caused @ArashZeini and I to pick up where we had left off a while ago. We just wrapped up a three-hour Zoom meeting which got us very close to a final Book Pahlavi model and a list of characters to propose to @Unicode!

Afàka script, is invented in 1900 by the Edebukuman (the “man who knows how to write”) Afàka Atumisi in Surinam. The apparition of the Halley comet in 1908 made him decide to spread the script in the community.
The comet has its own glyph in the writing system! #TheMissingScripts
