Latest WIP of The Bather from @Junebug_Minis based on art by @rhineville and sculpted by Thorbjørn Barone #thebather #nsfw
Final batch of the first wave of #thebather is being packed up for delivery. Getting a bit emotional over here.
Mr Lee's Minis has most of the first wave of #thebather packed up and ready to ship out! They should be on their way by the end of the week. MUCH EXCITE 🤩
There are still a few more copies left in the first wave if you'd like a copy! https://t.co/jXZu7nH3gH
We hit 104 preorders for #thebather! Sharing an exciting casting update. Thank you to everyone for all your love and support. I can't wait for everyone to get their copies.
#thebather is available for general sale at https://t.co/jXZu7nH3gH

Just a reminder that pre orders close today! If for whatever reason you can't order, there will be some available, but I can't be certain about availability or stock levels, so pre-order to avoid a long wait for #thebather.
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go
My hands were shaking when we unboxed #thebather. I was so excited that when we took pictures of all the parts on his kitchen table, I missed the sword and left it somewhere in the corner of the photo!
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/lZaXNj2x1E Pre-orders until 02 July
To everyone struggling with #mentalhealth, don't forget to love yourself. #thebather mini helped me with mine, so it's personal to me in this way, but I'm sure everyone will find their own connection.
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go. Pre-orders until 02 July
We did a few tweaks to the slicing of #thebather to make it easier to cast and transport. The arm bandage is separate piece, and the leg bandage was flattened against her thigh. Learning process!
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go. Pre-orders open til 02 July.
Another option was a limited edition run, but I wanted everyone who wanted #thebather to have one, instead of being a resale opportunity. It might have worked(?) but something didn't jive about creating a miniature that resonated so widely, only for it to be available to a few.
I was floored by the love for #thebather. Gold on Putty and Paint. Volomir Do Not Miss. Listening To Paint Dry. Painters and sculptors whose work I super admire. I was so starstruck and humbled.
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go. Pre-orders open til 02 July.
A little update at the halfway mark, 41 pieces sold! Thank you for all the support so far, it's been immense. We actually only need to sell a handful more of #thebather to break even! It would mean the world to me if you could share her with your friends. https://t.co/9X3IQPUqRO
As #thebather was originally intended to be a private project, I didn't realise I should have asked @rhineville's permission to use the concept art, but it was a real #duh moment when it was pointed out. I'm glad I could make it right, even though it was done in the wrong order!
When Thorbjørn posted #thebather, I was totally unprepared for the love it would get. Some people knew @rhinville's painting, and some wanted to buy it(!!!). We all appreciated something different.
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go. Pre-orders open til 02 July
Thorbjørn and Isabella completed #thebather within a week. I remain thoroughly impressed at how quickly professional artists work. Smooth communication, and just all around lovely people.
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go. Pre-orders open til 02 July.
The pandemic ruined my mental health, so I decided to treat myself to a piece of art for my birthday. I commissioned Thorbjørn to sculpt #thebather, impressed by the sensitivity in his other work.
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go. Pre-orders open til 02 July.
#thebather body was not the usual slender, glamorous female, nor was it unattainable muscles. I loved her bulk, the appropriately saggy stomach, her knees turned inward. Refreshingly non-sexual.
Available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go. Pre-orders open til 02 July
You know the feeling when you see a piece of art that just speaks to you, you stop, sit, and admire it? @rhineville's #thebather is phenomenal, she's a brilliant combination of quiet, strength, endurance, fierceness, and composure.
Available as a print https://t.co/6y7v7I0B96
Over the next month, I'll share the whole journey she's taken me on - from conception to producing my first ever figurine. Thank you to my friends for your abounding patience, advice, and support. It means the world to me be able to bring #thebather to reality.
The Bather is officially launched! Based on art by @rhineville and sculpted by Thorbjørn Barone, she's a 75mm piece complete with a scenic base; a twist on the classic "bather" trope.
#thebather is available at Mr Lee's Minis https://t.co/9X3IQQc2go. Pre-orders open til 02 July
