The Bather is officially launched! Based on art by @rhineville and sculpted by Thorbjørn Barone, she's a 75mm piece complete with a scenic base; a twist on the classic "bather" trope.

Light and Love has been an enormous project. Painting for a competition really pushed my standards higher. Pinning and gap filling was non-negotiable, I learned how to properly present my piece, and it was a valuable exercise in perseverance. Core memories unlocked with her 💛

All in all it was an absolute blast to attend Malcom 2023. I made a ton of friends and got to spend time with a wonderful community, and I’m so grateful to be a part of such a horizontal and warm community of modellers. Am already looking forward to next year.

This weekend started off in rather a mad rush. I still had some last minute work to do on La Charra before registration, so really had to knuckle down for the last few hours. The queue was also colossal! 900+ entries this year, the first year back after covid.
