Imagine if Soros had said: “I really think that there’s got to be a change of government in Britain. You can’t – we don’t have another four years, or whenever the next election is, it’s too long. Something’s got to be done. There’s got to be a dissolution of parliament and a new vote held.” Just imagine if Soros had then said “My appeal is to British common sense, which is to look carefully around you and say ‘If this continues, what world will you be living in?’ This is a message to the reasonable centre, the people who ordinarily wouldn’t get involved in politics, who just want to live their lives. They don’t want that, they’re quiet, they just go about their business. My message is to them: if this far-right violence continues, that violence is going to come to you, you will have no choice. You’re in a fundamental situation here. Whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you. You either fight back or you die, that’s the truth, I think.” Just imagine the response of the entire British and global right-wing establishment if Soros had said “the right are the party of murder”, referring to the death of Charlie Kirk (it now seems increasingly likely that the killer of Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson, had been radicalised by the far-right Groyper subculture even further to the right of Kirk), and “There’s so much violence on the right. The right is demonstrably the party of murder and celebrating murder. I mean, let that sink in for a minute, that’s who we’re dealing with here.” Then imagine if Soros had added that the British public are “scared to exercise their free speech” and claimed the Mail, GB News, The Telegraph, Spectator, Express, Sun and TakTV was “complicit in the destruction of Britain”. We all know that the hypocrites on the right would totally lose their shit. This another view on the evictions: In 1959, following the enactment of the Land Apportionment Act, the then colonial administration removed villagers from an area called Mkarabure in order to settle commercial farmers. The villagers were piled into open police trucks and dumped in tsetse fly infested Jotsholo 200 kilometers away. Last week, 43years after Independence, 62 villagers, 40 of whom were women, were piled into open police lorries and taken to Gwanda police charge office, where they spent 2 1/2days being interrogated about their right to settle on land that some of them have known as theirs for the past 27 years. They were allocated these pieces of land by their parents in keeping with a Ndebele custom: ( ukutshayela ihlahla). In my village, 17 homestead, including mine, are considered legal, whilst 40 that have since been established are considered illegal. The average age of the owners of these 40 illegal homes is 32.
