Family, Christmas 2018. Dad, as is often the case with Alzheimer’s, more interested in his card than the people. Nevertheless, we all got a smile and Dad/Grandad means the same today as he ever did.

Dad has always loved wearing a cap. He also loved trying to throw it on to a hatstand from ever increasing distances. Perhaps he wore it so that we wouldn’t find out about all the strange things growing out of his head (see photos) 🤔

#thisisdad dad got diagnosed early stages Alzheimer’s in his late 60s. It was painful to watch him forget things. He never made it to his 70th birthday I miss him so much Father’s Day is not the same without him. Proud to support @ARUKnews to help fight this.
