#TrustNet is my thinking of a global network for trust minimized coordination between humans, machines, institutions, and markets without requiring centralized arbiters.
The internet has never had a trustless coordination layer. The proposal to economics is kaspa as a "Global Commitment Ordering Layer" within the TCP/IP stack of protocols.
The reality is that there is not enough market demand for digital cash at massive scale yet. The limitation is adoption and incentives. It is not a tech problem. A peer to peer electronic cash system removes trusted intermediaries from settlement. Although that was a massive discover I personally think satoshi accidentally exposed something bigger. The whitepaper framed Bitcoin as money bcs money was the immediate application and easiest way to bootstrap the system economically through proof of work incentives. The holy grail is a peer to peer protocol that provides global ordering and finality of commitments without central trust (and without layers). I.e how do you coordinate untrusted computers and humans globally without central planners? Calling kaspa “money” is reductive. Money is just one expression of ordered commitments. What the world ultimately needs is a way to coordinate around an ordered state wo a central authority. Money is just ONE application built on top of that. The base layer is simply a sequencer.
The mantra "change the money change the world" should really be... "Change coordination, change civilization. Economics, money, and markets are all downstream from how humans coordinate state and trust.
1st order → ordering (trust)
2nd order → ownership (money/value)
3rd order → coordination (TrustNet)
1st order: global ordering and sequencing of commitments
“I commit to this state change, under these rules, and I authorize it with my signature.”
2nd order: Money. It is the lowest entropy application (a direct use of that ordering). “X owns Y units” only works because the ordering is credible. Hence money is the first logical application of ordered commitments.
3rd order: Coordination. Coordinated systems built on top of a sequencer. i,e. anything that requires coordination beyond simple ownership falls into 3rd order. E.g. contracts, identity, energy and commodity markets, messaging and data commitments, autonomous machine to machine tasks and decisions etc

Some folks like @KaspaKii people believe in use cases where decentralization is so essential that it's not even worth looking at crypto without it (and of course these usecases require scalability as well). So my feeling is that this might open doors to new application domains. Additionally I believe (and so does @hashdag ) that an extremely high bps parallel system opens up a new design space where many problems can be solved in novel ways.
The #TrustNet must centric to Satoshi's principles- KASPA.
The economic trust layer (#TrustNet) should be on the most "honest" network that solves the trilemma. IMO there is no other way. $KAS could eventually emerge as a truth enabler in a digital world increasingly moving toward entropy. In time, the demand will grow for a proof-of-work platform built on the three pillars of security, decentralization, and scalability. We need to advance the internet with stateless, decentralized, secure, and scalable trust protocols that preserve time. Safeguarding electrons, 1s, and 0s is essential to humanity’s future.
There can only be one solution to Byz Generals Problem. Any other solution would nullify all solutions, which is why there will never be another solution.
The only way to challenge the
Byzantine Generals 'Dilemma' would be to solve the next level problem: the Byzantine Generals "Trilemma". That would be the final form... decentralized consensus, security, and security all on the base layer-1.
The evolution from Bitcoin to Kaspa is an optimization, not a reinvention.
If Bitcoin was the only way to solve the Byz Generals Dilemma, then any attempt to improve on it would be inherently flawed because a new solution would contradict the original. There is still only one fundamental solution, but it can be optimized without nullifying itself.
The genius of $KAS is that it does not try to reinvent the solution- it simply optimizes it. It takes the core of what makes Bitcoin secure (PoW) and expands its efficiency with blockdag, removing bottlenecks while preserving the same security guarantees.
Byzantine Generals Problem was solved once and for all in 2008, but it took another 14 years for someone to fully optimize that solution into something that could scale without compromise.
Bitcoin was the foundation. Kaspa is the final form- the perfected realization of the only true decentralized consensus.
Unless we break the fundamental laws of physics and information theory- which isn’t happening anytime soon.
The only way there could be another solution is if someone discovered an entirely new paradigm of computing and consensus that bypasses the need for an objective cost function like POW. But even then, the problem remains: How do you establish trust in a decentralized system without an unforgeable cost?
PoW works because energy expenditure is absolute...it cannot be faked, reversed, or manipulated without also paying the cost. This is a law of thermodynamics. Any other system that tries to "solve" Byzantine Fault Tolerance without PoW is either:
1) Cheating (introducing centralized elements or trust assumptions).
2) Reinventing PoW in a different form (but less efficiently).
3) Violating physics (which we haven't figured out how to do).
The only conceivable alternative would be quantum based consensus that relies on some unknown physical principle like quantum entanglement or direct energy verification at a universal scale.
I know its cliche but Kaspa really could be the final form (end game) of decentralized consensus.
Yes, I did, but then changed to Truthnet as Blockchain Technology replaces Trust with Truth and liberates the $7T a year the Trust Brokers (Banks, Brokers, Accountants, etc.) extract from us each year…
