Whichever day you mark these dates here in the UK we look forward to a day when Muslims in the UK can find assurance that they are celebrating and marking important dates together with family and friends in our locality.
We also continue to pray for the safety and security of Muslims around the world who are oppressed and persecuted. Fasting perhaps not our of choice, but necessity. Eid for them will be very different to ours- ravaged by war and famine, we cannot take our countless blessings for granted.
