@JasmeanK @TheRealDoctorT @MDNidhi @drwangmd Many many congrats! π I received very similar news yesterday. With this test behind us, let us focus on the humanity in medicine - something much more important than exams that lack correlation with success. #usmleReform #MedTwitter #HumanityInMedicine
@itspseudomona ππ»ππ»ππ» the USMLE/NBME are negatively impacting student futures - both financially and mental wellbeing. When will medical schools step in on behalf of their students? Where is the advocacy? #medtwitter #USMLEreform #cancelStep
@JSaundyy_23 Sorry to hear that you had to deal with that BS. I find so much truth in what you're saying. Step is rigged for many reasons but disproportionately hinders disadvantaged students. #USMLEreform #STEPreform #MedEdJustice
Stop changing things every other week. Students are already stressed with the uncertainty surrounding this match cycle. Youβre affecting our mental health and we are already in a crisis.
Please do whatβs best for your future physicians.

@fm_warsame @SarahHsu28 My thoughts exactly (to P/F and Moira Rose). If there is a silver-lining from COVID it is that the @NBMEnow @TheUSMLE were exposed as overvalued. 1st base = Step 1 P/F, 2nd base = suspend CS, 3rd base= shorten CK. Now bring it home with Step 2 CK P/F βΎοΈ@jbcarmody #USMLEreform
@TheUSMLE continues their slight-of-hand. Am I glad that my exam on the 20th might be shorter? Sure. Am I pissed that this entity is even more suspicious than I once thought? Oh yeah. Thanks for calling this out, once again @jbcarmody #USMLEreform #eliminateStep
Curious announcement from @TheUSMLE yesterday:
Students taking the USMLE at medical schools will take a version of the test that is two hours shorter (due to the elimination of experimental test items).
Couple of quick thoughts...

This is fire. Last year we cried "Step 1 P/F," this year we cried "EndStep2CS." The USMLE patriarchy still reins (even if perilously) but my gen of physicians are powerful, fearless leaders ready for positive change for all. #medtwitter #cancelStep2CS #endStep2CS #USMLEreform
WINNERS: The medical students who started the #EndStep2CS movement.
Sure, CS is just suspended, not cancelled.
But after making a petition that gathered >20K signatures - and *still* getting stiff-armed by the NBME - tonightβs gotta feel good, right?

@hakimimn Mahasiswa kedokteran harus mempelajari masalah yang paling umum. Langkah 1 menguji konsep kecil, lama. #USMLEreform
